Los expertos de XXL Magazine han creado una lista con los 50 mejores discos de rap en los últimos 20 años. Desde el inicio del nuevo milenio se ha hecho rap, mucho rap y sobre todo muy buen rap. Hace unos meses hacíamos un recap de para nosotros cuáles habían sido los 100 mejores discos de los 200. En un ejercicio un poco similar, la gente de XXL Magazine, la mejor revista de rap del mundo. Han hecho una lista de los 50 mejores discos de rap desde el principio de siglo hasta aquí.
En estos 22 años que llevamos de milenio hemos visto como artistas que empezaron a destacar en la época dorada del rap han tenido consistencia y se han convertido en los verdaderos rapstar del cambio de década. Esto se ha mantenido más o menos constante en la siguiente década, donde no ha habido tantos artistas nuevos sino más bien, mantener las viejas glorias con nuevos e impresionantes discos. Por supuesto, hay excepciones para todo esto.
